City Repair is fiscally sponsoring Stories to Change the World, a writing contest for youth and adults building realistic and positive speculative fiction.
“I run this contest because I understand that ‘changing the world’ is something that everyone is constantly doing. I help people discover that truth and put more intention behind their fantasies. The stories are not about utopias, they are about realistic change.” says producer, Alexis Thompson.
We're hoping that many members of the City Repair community will contribute stories to the contest because we are a group of visionaries. Stories are just 700-1,100 words, due by February 28th. Benefits include cash prizes, publication, recognition at the Book Release Party on May 12th, and influence over what the world will bring.
