The Center for Public Interest Design, in collaboration with the Village Coalition, City Repair, and the ReBuilding Center, is hosting PODS (Partners on Dwelling) a design summit that will result in the construction of safe, comfortable, and design-forward “sleeping pods” for use as emergency transitional housing. The design parameters for these small structures have already been approved by the City of Portland for immediate use.
