The Village Lives: 2018 Placemaking Launch!

Join us for a launch party for our Placemaking Program! We are welcoming in 40 community sites to go through the process of community design to create installations such as intersection paintingspermaculture landscapesnatural buildings, and projects that supporting houseless folk to develop villages.

This evening of placemaking storytelling and connection will be highlighted with a presentation by City Repair co-founder and continuing organizer (as well as architect for Communitetcure), Mark Lakeman. We will share why we do this work, the how, and where we are going.

Food will be served, come hungry!

Entry is free to participants for our current Placemaking Program. 
Sliding scale donation for all other attendees! Funds raised support the Placemaking Program. A few volunteers will be needed for set up. take down, and food serving, contact Kirk at volunteer@cityrepair.org
