VBC6 Passports

WHAT IS THE VBC6 PASSPORT?

The VBC6 Passport is a booklet issued to track your learning experiences. You can show it off or just be proud of your achievements. The booklet doubles as a meal ticket and an evening event pass. A grid showing how many meals and evening events were paid for will be stamped in the Passport.

HOW IS IT USED?

You receive a passport when you register for at least three days of VBC6. More grids can be stamped into the booklet as you pay for additional days.

Show the passport when eating meals or attending evening events. A VBC volunteer will mark the appropriate place in the passport grid.

Obtain special stamps and signatures at VBC sites, workshops and evening events. When you’ve met the requirements below, turn your passport in to be embossed and you’ll be honored as a Village Builder.

TRACKING YOUR PARTICIPATION

You can earn the following stamps by participating in VBC6:

  • Site stamp – Work at a VBC site for at least three hours, and the site builder or assistant will verify you were there. You can stay with one site or go to several.
  • Workshop stamp – The workshop instructor or assistant will stamp your passport.
  • Evening Presentation stamp – Show up for any of the evening events and get credit.
  • Contact Stamp – Collect names of people you want to work with in the future.

VILLAGE BUILDER

We all can become Village Builders! You are so honored when you learn from a variety of Village Building Convergence experiences. Here is what it takes to get your passport embossed: two workshop stamps, three evening event stamps, five site stamps, and contact information for eight people.

You don’t have to complete it all this year. Experience gained during VBC7 will count, too!
