The official deadline has passed, but we are still taking submissions. If you are interested in writing an article, e-mail Rich. The Village Builder is publication that serves as an advertisement, a catalog, a souvenir, and most importantly a guidebook for the Village Building Convergence. Its goal is to give the reader all that they need to get the most out of the VBC experience.

You can help make the Builder an amazing tool by submitting the following:

• Photos or black and white art of VBC sites, City Repair events, or anything related to this work/play that we do.
• Articles about subjects related to the core themes and philosophies of VBC and City Repair.
• Quotes- either famous “sound bites” that you’d see on a bumper sticker, or quotes by you or your neighbors about how VBC has enriched your life.
• Suggestions for further reading, viewing, or doing.
• Definitions of jargon the public wouldn’t know.
• The names of anyone you’d like to see thanked for their work on VBC7.
• Anything you’d like to see everyone at VBC have a copy of.

The following things will be needed for the Builder from specific sorts of people…

• VBC Core, Presenters, Natural Builders and other Key figures are asked to submit a bio about 50 words in length.
• VBC 2007 Site Hosts/ Contact people are asked to contact Rich. (There is a specific list of questions and other needs)
• VBC Site Hosts from previous years are asked to contact Rich if you’d like a page discussing updates and happenings in your site since the year it was created. (There is a specific list of questions and other needs)
• Those involved with events are asked to share all schedules and other information. The Builder will also publish a full schedule of events.
