What?

Two days of community dialog and visioning, including a demonstration of the Wisdom Council, a faciliated process of community dialog to restore and empower The Commons.

“An Inconvenient Truth”, from 4-6:30pm February 17th

Speakers include:

  • Mark Lakeman: local activist and architect, will provide brief overview of how The City Repair Project builds social, economic and environment capital through Placemaking–the transformation of public spaces into welcoming places.
  • Mark Anielski: professor of economics and author of soon-to-be-published, “The Economics of Happiness”, will describe effective assessment protocols to measure the components of community wellness and socially-based wealth.
  • Adin Rogovin: activist and group facilitator, will discuss the Co-Intelligence Instititute’s work empowering communities to evoke the collective voice of “We the People” with Wisdom Councils and integrate their vision into effective interface with local government.
